Specialized strategies large
firms can't scale.

Every approach we use is deliberately chosen because it requires the personal attention and expertise that only a firm of our size can deliver.

Custom Tax-Loss Harvesting

We actively monitor each client's holdings to realize losses deliberately and reinvest to maintain exposure — a process that requires individual attention no automated platform can replicate.

Result: Significant after-tax benefits not achievable in model-driven platforms.

Individual Municipal Bonds

We select bonds matched to your state residency, maturity, and credit quality — avoiding the inefficiencies and hidden costs of pooled bond funds.

Result: Tax-free income with precision.

Overlooked Securities

We invest in high-quality preferreds and niche securities that large firms ignore — because they can't accumulate meaningful positions at scale. We can.

Result: Attractive yields with disciplined risk management.

Value in Inefficient Markets

We focus on small- and mid-cap companies trading below intrinsic value — areas with less analyst coverage and greater pricing inefficiency that reward patient, disciplined investors.

Result: Attractive long-term return potential.

Income-First Portfolio Design

A substantial portion of total return comes from dividends and interest — not market timing. We build portfolios designed to compound steadily through all market environments.

Result: Greater stability and stronger long-term compounding.

Strategic Charitable Giving

Charitable planning is coordinated with your tax and investment strategy — using appreciated assets and optimized timing to maximize impact without sacrificing returns.

Result: Greater impact and superior tax efficiency.

Three layers of financial security.

Your investments are guarded at every level — from the advisor managing your money to the institutions holding it.

Chartered Financial Analyst

Lee holds the globally recognized CFA® credential — the gold standard in investment management. With 44 years of experience, he is one of the few senior CFAs who works directly and personally with every client.

Broker / Dealer Oversight

American Wealth Management provides advisory back-up services, regulatory oversight, and supervision — a local association managing over $300 million in assets, ensuring an additional layer of accountability.

Independent Custodian

Raymond James provides independent, third-party account statements and market valuations. Your assets are held in SIPC-insured accounts in your name — completely separate from the advisory firm.

Decades of experience.
Personal attention. Your financial future.

How is an investment manager different from a broker?
A broker is an intermediary paid by commission per transaction — a sales-driven model. We manage portfolios as stewards: our goal is your long-term financial success, and we benefit only when our clients do.
Why should I use an independent firm?
Our firm is independently owned — no outside owners with conflicting interests. This independence lets us make the best decisions for you without external pressure or incentive misalignment.
Why not just diversify in mutual funds?
Many funds prioritize marketing over performance. Fund inflows and outflows substantially impair a manager's ability to outperform, and selecting on track record alone is unreliable. We offer a tailored, lower-cost, individually managed alternative.
Do you have a minimum account size?
There's no minimum account size, though there is a $3,000 minimum annual fee. This works best for accounts of $500,000 and above, balancing broad accessibility with the quality of individual attention we provide.
